About the Event

Two-person teams are comprised of an amateur paired with their club/course superintendent in a best ball (fourball) format. Proceeds from the event and other Foundation initiatives help support a critical need for the game of golf, rebuilding the pipeline of future caretakers of the courses we love.

The Northern Regional event will offer a $10,000 scholarship purse with the top teams winning the opportunity to select a turf program to receive scholarship dollars from the Super-Scratch Foundation. Additionally, two (2) teams will win exemptions into the National Invitational at Huntingdon Valley in October.

About Blue Mound Golf & Country Club

Designed by legendary architect, Seth Raynor, Blue Mound is widely considered one of the Midwest's top classic courses and is commonly rated among the top 10 courses in the state of Wisconsin. Blue Mound features many of the template holes famously utilized by Raynor throughout his career.

The greats of the game have walked these grounds, including during the 1933 PGA Championship hosted at Blue Mound, where golf-great Gene Sarazen claimed the title.
